  • "Renny taught both of my girls' piano for 3 years and 1 year respectively. My daughters have improved tremendously with Renny and LOVE her classes. She is patient, encouraging, but also disciplined with good pace of progress and homework every week. Renny motivates and inspires my girls to learn classical music. She spent extra hours to teach them music theories and histories, gave them homework to listen to other performers style, and even encouraged them to make PowerPoint presentation in 2021 to try something new. :) Students have the opportunity to perform at recitals at least twice a year, and have options to participate in various local competition and festivals. 100% and more satisfaction and recommendations!! My kids had played for 4 years with a different teacher prior to this. Renny started by correcting their hand positions and started them on scales. Her focus on both technique and musicality is truly one-of-a-kind. Renny is extremely passionate, dedicated and detail-oriented. She is completely focused on the child's progress and brings a lot of energy to all her classes. She is not only a great player but also a great teacher. She always finds ways to help kids overcome technical challenges by giving them strategies to practice or to memorize. She has ways to teach theory that kids actually understand (vs just memorize). She is so dedicated, she always encouraged us to reach out to her in between classes if we had a specific issue or question and she organized extra classes with all her students to teach them about music periods and styles. Finally, she has the most wonderful personality. She is warm, encouraging, understanding and truly connects with kids. My kids have made so much progress both on technique and musicality, I could not be more grateful for her teaching.All her students are so lucky.
