Unfortunately, there is a waitlist at this time, and I am only considering students with prior experience playing piano (at least 3-5 years experience). If you are an intermediate or advanced level pianist and are interested in joining my studio, I would love to chat with you. Please reach out to me via the “Contact Us” tab.

I would love to get to meet you at my studio located in Bothell or online! Just head to the “Contact Us” on the top right corner of the page and either fill out the information, email, or call me. Once I receive your contact, I will be more than happy to schedule an appointment with you to discuss more on your musical goals and possible next steps.

If we both feel like there’s a good match after the trial lesson and you would like to join my studio, I can place you on the waitlist.

Having a piano is a must if you plan on taking piano lessons. Students are expected to practice on the materials given to them in class daily. There are great acoustic and digital pianos that would work - it must have 88 keys and must be weighted. If you need help finding a piano, I would gladly be happy to assist.

When students are ready, I generally encourage them to apply to competitions not only gain stage experience, but also to gain feedback from adjudicators - which I find to be the most valuable.
As far as examinations, I leave it up to students to decide if they would like to enroll; however, if they do, then I also expect them to dedicate a certain amount of practice each day.

Piano lessons are held in my home studio in Bothell, WA. Unfortunately I do not offer at-home lessons.
Absolutely, online lessons are an option. I just ask that you have good internet connection and a device where I can clearly and visibly see your hands.

I will generally send links for parents to purchase and supplement with various shorter pieces if needed ( such as quick sight-reading pieces or challenge pieces).
You also have the option to purchase the books elsewhere if preferred, although I ask that you find the same edition that I recommend.

I provide 30, 45, and 60 minute lessons. After the initial trial lesson, I will discuss with you what would be the most suitable lesson time for your child.
